Never Too Young

ImpactI was told I was too young to be unwell—but I was. Support was scarce until I found NTY, where I met others my age facing the same challenges. It made all the difference.

Raising Critical Awareness

Around 2,500 people under 50 are diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK each year. Despite this, awareness and support are predominantly focused on those over 50. Sophia Sangchi, diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer at 31, founded ‘Never Too Young’ in association with Bowel Cancer UK to address this oversight. NTY is run by young people affected by bowel cancer, united to share experiences and support one another. We devised an unignorable Colon ‘:’— inspired brand identity to spark conversations, raise awareness, and ultimately help save lives. Renowned typographer Tom Lane created a bespoke typeface probono in Sophia’s memory.
