27 projects. 5 years. 1 team. Fostering growth across health, wellness and beauty.
This is chapter 2 of our series getting under the skin of health, wellness and beauty, unpacking the business challenges behind the work each week.
For Optifast, the issue was never shortage of clinical credibility. The challenge was making the brand feel coherent across markets, while giving it enough warmth and relevance to connect with the people using it, recommending it and living with it.
Today, weight-loss brands sit in a complicated space. They need to be trusted by healthcare professionals, but they also need to feel approachable to people who may already be carrying a lot of pressure, frustration, uncertainty, or the feeling that they have tried this before.
Clarity over complexity was at the heart of our approach: creating a brand system that felt clearer for teams, more useful across multiple markets and more sensitive to the emotional reality of weight loss, rather than focusing on consistency for consistency’s sake.
From the brand mark through to the core proposition, we helped rejuvenate Optifast around a more human role: supporting people through change, not simply telling them what change should look like.
Ultimately, the brand must work for the science, the business and the person at the centre of it all. Because the most effective systems help build brands that are easier to understand, easier to use and unforgettable.
